BB CREAM + FOUNDATION !

YES u hear me right .... BB CREAM + FOUNDATION ! but of coz not mix and slap it on your face lah ...

I know I am a bit fickle minded lately ... and I still remember I've mentioned in my earlier post that I swear by MAC makeup base ... but of late, I am a bit siao (crazy) over BB cream, prob due to the f*cking breakouts on my skin for no apparent reason.

This is what I'll USUALLY do; the usual skincare routine, follow by BB CREAM! that's where I would normally stop and out for the day ...

BUT TODAY, I am going a bit overboard to have a better coverage and still have the luxury of this super expensive BB CREAM on my face.

BB CREAM AS MY MAKEUP BASE! YES ! U HEAR ME RIGHT!

follow by a light coverage foundation & concealer .. some shading & highlighting ... and out to WORK! (sounds like too much going on isn't it :p) ....... *sssshhhhh* was out doing makeup for a friend so blemished skin is a NO-NO else ppl will be saying " Apa punya makeup artist ni muka sendiri pun satu macam" LOL!!!

VERDICT : GREAT! and i am a bit gaga over this combination now hehehehe ... give it a try yourself and tell me what you think .. u can send me some pics too hehehe and I'm more than happy to post them here :)

My dear, since you say the coverage is good using BB cream as your make-up base; what BB cream would you recommend??

My make-up regime to work is using Dr Feel Good, followed by Body Shop's 2-way powder as my foundation, followed by some loose powder than my usual blusher and eye make-ups....

allo .. hehe i guess u pretty love dr. feel good and u should stick with it .. dun hv to go thru the hassle of getting another BB cream :)

dr.feel good does a pretty well job in terms of making the skin look more "poreless" and its good for those with normal skin .. ppl like me damn sensitive i would hv to go for BB cream :p

ei on a seperate note, u might wanna try skipping the loose powder if ur skin is not that oily coz too much powders on the skin will make it a bit funi .. u know what i mean :)

there are plenty of BB creams out there and depending very much on ur preference lor ..
i am using SKIN 79 (refer to the post before this) and find it pretty good .. shereen is using the same brand too but hers is more for dry skin.

Hi brian

i am new to BB cream. Can u pls tell me the sequence of application.

after skin care, i apply sun block, then BB cream, then liquid foundation (optional). Is it correct?

BRYAN said...

hey hi hi ..
u can prob skip sun block coz BB cream alr contain SPF (most of them)
yea foundation is definitely optional unless u r not happy with the coverage of BB cream :)

Hi Bryan, I just found your blog. It seems a bit late to me, hehe...I'm actually a cosmetics holic and used to be crazy to anything related to cosmetics and beauty products.

I'm actually a Skin 79 user. I'm using their BB Cream as make up base, foundation and concealer. I'm recently looking for an under eye concealer which is willing to cover my "dark eye bag" T.T...do you have any good recommendation? Thanks,hehe...

Oh yea, my eye area is dry and I used to take care of them since i was 18 but still, fine lines...arghhhh...
